Truckers call off the threat of a further protest

On Monday, members of the Irish Road Haulage Association staged a protest at Dublin port, blockading around 500 trucks.

The group says the rate they pay is over 6 times the rate of their Northern Irish and British competitors.

Representatives from the IRHA will meet with the Ministers for Finance, Transport and Environment in due course.
