The cleric admits paying Dolores Atwood €176,000 over a number of years but denies payments were made to but denies payments were made to get her to withdraw an abuse complaint about him.
In taped phone calls with her husband Chris Atwood in 2007 he said he felt he was being blackmailed by her.
Richard Burke’s testimony came to an end today and it’s now up to RTE to call evidence in its defence. Dolores Atwood is in court and is due to be called to the witness box.
