Main runway to be overhauled at Dublin airport

The Irish Times reports that around 420 flights a week will be diverted while refurbishment to the runway takes place over the next 15 months.

The flights will use a different runway with two approach routes.

It means flights will be diverted over Naul in North Dublin, as well as Bray, Shankill, Blackrock and Artane before reaching Santry.
