The death of a man whose body was taken from the River Suir near Cahir is being treated as a personal tragedy.
Emergency services were alerted this morning by a member of the public.
The remains of the man in his 40s were recovered from the water on stretch between the Inch Field and the Swiss Cottage.
Pending the outcome of post-mortem a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
