This year has seen big increases in points for business, law, and construction-related courses.
There have been more than 600 calls already to the helpline run by the National Parents Council.

“Since 8 o'clock this morning the phones have been hopping – with questions like 'how do I accept my offer now that I've got it? I want to defer it, how do I defer it? If I accept it now will I lose out on something that I might become eligible for further up the line of my preferences?” she said.
