Caution advised on the roads.

Tipperary motorists are being warned to slow down as heavy rain is affecting driving conditions, especially in the North of the county.

A number of collisions have occurred over the last number of hours, most have been cleared from the roads and no serious injuries were reported

Nenagh Gardaí are appealing to motorists to slow down, especially on the M7 and M8 motorways as there is excess water on the road and cars are loosing control.

There are also reports of flash flooding on several minor routes around the county this afternoon with the bad weather expected to continue for the day, drivers are being urged to slow down and keep a good distance from the cars in front of them.
