A dog has been seized in Cashel after reports of other small dogs being attacked in the town in recent months.
Gardai, working alongside the Tipperary County Council’s dog warden, seized the Japanese Akita dog on Tuesday.
Gardai have thanked the public for their help in the investigation so far, and say a prosecution is pending.
