536 on Hospital Trollies Today

536 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this morning.

INMO figures show 408 are in emergency departments, while 128 are in wards.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 109 patients on trolleys.

That’s followed by 54 at Cork University Hospital, and 47 at University Hospital Galway.

There are 19 people on trollies at Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel and one in Nenagh.
