Spain has lost 26,834 people to Covid 19 since the outbreak began.
Today, the country will begin a ten-day mourning period for the lost lives with flags being flown at half mast on public meetings and naval ships.
Tipperary native Breda McGrath who lives in Madrid joined Fran on Tipp Today to talk about the situation there now.
