Considerable additional funding has been announced for Tipperary under the Community Enhancement Programme.
The €316,000 will be used to tackle disadvantage in the county and comes on top of an earlier allocation of €150,000 to the county.
Fine Gael election candidate Mary Newman Julian says it will be put to good use in the Premier.
