South Tipp could stand to be affected more greatly by cuts to
local Government funding.
The Government has already threatened to cut funding to Local
Authorities, who fail to collect the household charge.
It could mean that South Tipp is more affected, as 23.6%
of their budget is covered by the local Government fund.
That compares with 22.7% in North Tipp.
Those percentages are mostly average, when compared with
other areas.
Leitrim though, could find itself very out of pocket, as over 30% of their
budget is covered by the fund.
