Local woman encourages people to be more breast aware

It’s breast cancer awareness month and women are being warned to be more ‘breast aware’

Leading a local campaign of awareness is Geraldine Callanan who was newly married with a three month old son when she discovered a lump in her breast in November 2017.

Geraldine told Tipp FM news her age meant she wasn’t actively checking herself.
