Tough battle expected between Tipp and Kilkenny

The rivalry between Tipperary and Kilkenny will be re-kindled on Sunday when the sides meet in Round 4 of the National Hurling League.

Kilkenny's Padraig Walsh says games between the two sides historically come down to very fine margins and he expects Sunday's match in Semple Stadium to be no different.

The 23 year old wing back says players step-up their performance when the two counties meet.

Walsh says both teams will relish the chance to play each other on Sunday.

Tipp are joint top of Division 1A after two wins from their opening three games, while the Cats are flirting with relegation with only one win so far.

Throw-in at Semple Stadium this Sunday is at 2 o'clock and Tipp FM will have full live coverage in association with Doherty Hardware, Roscrea and Bob O'Brien Garage, Nenagh.
