Tipperary Supporters Club urges people to back their support for the County Board

Tipperary Supporters Club says the fundraising it does helps the County Board to meet the 'demands' on it.

PRO John Coman made his comments as the Club launched a drive to sign up new members for 2017.

It was set up in 1986 by then manager Babs Keating to raise money to pay for the training and preparation of the county senior hurling panel.

John says the Club makes a significant annual contribution to covering this cost to the Tipp GAA authorities.
