The Munster Council of the GAA has confirmed that this year's Munster hurling final will be held at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Waterford's request to move the game to Semple Stadium, which would have conceded home advantage to Tipperary was rejected last night.

The game will now go ahead as planned on July 15th with a four o'clock throw-in.

Meanwhile the Tipperary minor hurling team to play Waterford in the Munster semi-final at Semple Stadium on Wednesday evening shows 4 changes from the team which defeated Kerry in the first round.

Barry Heffernan, Tadhg Gallagher, Steven O’Brien and Sean Ryan come into the team instead of Luke Mullally, Tom Kirwan, Sean Nally and Kevin Slattery.
