Tipp will have to be at their ‘best’ to beat Limerick

He thinks the Premier County will 'have to find another level' if they're to advance to next month's provincial decider.

The Tipp team for the match at Semple Stadium is due to announced this evening.

Michael believes the players will benefit from having played against Cork four weeks ago.

The Limerick side chosen to play Tipperary will feature four championship debutants.

Diarmuid Byrnes, Richie English, Gearoid Hegarty and Barry Nash are the players set to play in the senior provincial hurling competition for the first time.

Limerick manager TJ Ryan says there's a good vibe about hurling in the Treaty County at the moment.

Tipp FM's build-up to the match, which throws-in at 4.00pm, gets underway just after 3 on Sunday afternoon.  Our coverage will be brought to you in association with Mulcahy Car Sales, Ardcroney, Nenagh.

We'll also bring you updates from the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship Semi-Final between Tipperary and Limerick, which is also being played at Semple Stadium.

Tipp FM's Stephen Gleeson will have news of how things are going from 2 o'clock.
