Tipp looking for big performance against Galway

After defeat to Dublin last weekend, the Premier County will be looking to gain a valuable two points in the first of their two home games. 

Under Eamon O'Shea, Tipp have only lost one game to Galway between the league and championship, a run of form he'll be looking to continue today. 

Four changes were made to the team that lost to Dublin in Round 1. 

Michael Breen, Conor O'Brien, Ronan Maher and John McGrath, brother of Noel, all come into the side. 

Joe O'Dwyer and Shane McGrath were ruled out through injury and Conor O'Mahony and James Woodlock also drop out. 

Captain of the senior hurlers Brendan Maher says the players will be looking to deliver a strong performance against the Tribesmen.

In other news., Skoda will remain the shirt sponsor of the Tipperary team until March 15th when the Premier County host Kilkenny in the National Hurling League. 

It has yet to be confirmed who will replace Skoda on the Tipp shirt.
