Having won the Munster Senior and Minor titles last weekend Tipp will be hoping to reach the Under 21 final to give them a chance of all three hurling crowns.

TJ Connolly’s team contains a number of players that picked up Munster senior medals last Sunday afternoon in Thurles.

Tipp back Michael Breen says last years quarter-final defeat to Clare was a steep learning curve for the players and tonight’s game will be hard won as the gap between all teams in the province is very small.

Throw-in is at 7.30 in Limerick.

Meanwhile Clare await the winners of this evenings clash following their defeat of Waterford in Ennis last night. 13 points from Bobby Duggan helped them to a 23 point to 1-18 win to reach their fourth Munster Under 21 final in a row.
