Tipp football launches strategic plan

Tipperary football board launched their strategic plan until 2020 to a packed venue at the GAA centre In Clonmel last night.

The board hope to build on the work which has been undertaken in the last number of years and the aim is to put in place a number of key ventures to ensure Tipperary football continues to grow.

The Tipperary football teams that reached Munster senior finals in 1993, 94 and 98 were honoured at last nights event.

Speakers on the night included former captains Philly Ryan, Sean Collum and Brian Burke as well as former manager Seamus MacCarthy.

Speaking to Tipp FM Sport before the plan was launched Tipp football board chair Barry O’Brien said it was a very important event for football in the county.
