An early Cian Darcy goal set the tone for the day as Kilruane McDonaghs put it up to the county champions.
Sars regrouped and stormed back to lead 1-14 to 1-7 at half time.
Kilruane took the game to Sars in the second half with Seamus Hennessey to the fore but despite losing Michael Cahill to a second yellow late on Sars held on.
An Aiden McCormack goal with two minutes left was enough to see Sars safely through to another county final on a final score of 2-19 to 1-17.

In the second game Drom Inch and Nenagh finished Drom 2-12 to Nenagh’s 1-15 and in extra time Nenagh pulled away to win 1-20 to 2-16.
It was a titanic struggle and the game looked set to go to a replay but Nenagh won the day in the end.
