Three of football semi-finals berths filled

Clonmel Commericials were the first to book their place in the last four – they beat Arravale Rovers 1-19 to 0-11 in a quarter-final clash in Cahir.

At the same venue Kilsheelan-Kilcash got the better of Ballyporeen on a 1-13 to 0-12 scoreline.

Loughmore-Castleiney advanced to the semis by beating Galtee Rovers/St Pecaun 3-15 to 0-11.

The fourth quarter-final between Moyle Rovers and Aherlow Gaels takes place in New Inn next Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, Moyne Templetuohy and Moneygall have been relegated from the county senior hurling ranks following the 2-17 a piece draw between Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams and Silvermines.
