Team Ireland out in force in Rio

Ireland's two Lightweight Double Sculls rowing crews will be back to contest their semi-finals, weather permitting.

Sinead Lynch and Claire Lambe will be first onto the water at around one. 

And they'll be followed minutes later by the O'Donovan brothers, Paul and Gary in their semi-final.

Donegal's Chloe Magee will also be in action at around 1 o'clock this afternoon when she begins her campaign in the Women's Badminton singles.

Judy Reynolds will finally begin her Olympics in the Individual Dressage, which resumes at two o'clock this afternoon.

Ireland must beat Canada if they to have any chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the men's hockey competition.

And in Swimming this evening, Shane Ryan returns to the pool for the heats of the Men's 50m Freestyle.
