Shane Lowry has admitted it was hard to take the positives from his final round at the BMW PGA Championship.
The former Irish Open winner put himself right in contention yesterday and was tied for the lead at one point, but a stunning 62 by Alex Noren – coupled with two double bogeys on Lowry’s back nine – ended his challenge.
However an eagle on the last gave the Offaly native a share of 6th place.
