They secured their spots in the final four after wins over Borrisoleigh and Kilruane MacDonaghs respectively at Semple Stadium this afternoon.
Thurles Sarsfield opened the scoring in their clash with Borrisoleigh shortly after throw in including a Pa Bourke scoring goal in just the second minute. However Borris fought back and were trailing by just a point at half time- However Sars stormed ahead in the second half clocking up 6 points without reply along with a second goal and 8 further points to Borrisoleigh's 3 – It ended 2-22 to 0-13 points to Thurles Sarsfield.
Earlier Killenaule secured their spot in the Semi Finals after overcoming Kilruane McDonaghs.
It was a high scoring point for point game for both sides during the encounter at Semple Stadium this afternoon with first half goals from John O'Dwyer and Cian Darcy but MacDonaghs couldn't close the 3 point deficit in the second half after a Killenaule scored a second goal in the 36th minute.
It ended Killenaule 2-20 – Thomas MacDonaghs 1-20.
