Senior hurling down to final quartet

Nenagh, Thurles Sarsfields, Kilruane and Drom Inch are the quartet.

Nenagh defeated Portroe in the first game today in Thurles on a scoreline of 0-27 to 1-12. 

It was one way traffic throughout as Nenagh led 0-13 to 0-5 at the break.

In the second game Thurles Sarsfields beat Clonoulty Rossmore 1-23 to 1-14 . Sarsfields progressed after leading 1-12 to 0-8 at the break.

Conor Lanigan with the goal there as Pa Bourke hit  8 points from play in that game, finishing with 0-11 in total.

The draw will be on Tipp FM tomorrow night.

In the Clean Ireland Recycling County Intermediate Hurling Championship Golden-Kilfeacle hit 3-12 to Carrick Davins 0-11 to record a fine victory for the West Tipperary team.

Clonakenny also progress to the next round as they received a walkover from Rockwell Rovers.
 

In the South Tipperary Minor A Hurling League Championship game played at Kilsheelan today Moyle Rovers ran out winners over Carrick Davins. 

The final score there was Moyle Rovers 1-19 Carrick Swans 0-13

In the SFC Preliminary quarter final game played in Golden this afternoon Galtee Rovers beat Cahir on a scoreline of 1-11 to 2-6
