Ryan taking positives from Kilkenny defeat

Despite leading for most of the match Tipperary were beaten by the Cats in their second Allianz National League outing of the season yesterday.

Two late goals – the second of which came in injury time – from Kevin Kelly earned the Cats a 2-17 to 0-18 victory over the Premier at Nowlan Park.

Tipp's top scorer was 'Bubbles' O'Dwyer – a late replacement on the team for Jason Forde – who got 9 points.  John McGrath, Noel McGrath, Conor Kenny and Michael Breen also contributed to the team's tally.
