Rugby world in mourning

“Phenomenal rugby brain” “Leader” and “Legend” are just some of the tributes being paid to former Munster coach Anthony Foley following his sudden death.

The Killaloe man passed away on Saturday night as Munster was preparing to face Racing 92 in the Champions Cup.

The former Ireland number 8 was head coach of Munster from 2014 to the end of last season.

Foley played 62 times for Ireland and captained the Munster team that won the Heineken Cup in 2006.

Former Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan, says Foley had everything you needed to be a great coach.

Fellow Munster man Ronan O'Gara says the world has lost an “incredible man”.
