Noel Meade has yet again hit the ground running as the jumps season accelerates into top gear.

The County Meath trainer sends a team of six to Punchestown today headed by the exciting Wounded Warrior who makes his eagerly-awaited debut over fences in the Ballymore Christmas Fare Beginners Chase at 3.05.

Meade is doubly-represented in the Book New Year's Eve Beginners Chase at 2.35 by the JP McManus-owned Chancol and Festive Felon and the fact that stable jockey Paul Carberry rides Chancol looks a big tip in itself.
