Clonmel Celtic and St Michaels will battle it out for the South Tipp crown this evening in their final League fixture of 2015.
St Michaels Captain James “Chalky” Walsh says it is great the TSDL has two strong teams competing not just in Tipp but on a national level.
Going into the game both teams are level on 35 points a piece.
The Tipp Town club will be looking to retain the trophy before they take on Celtic again in the Tipperary Cup Final next weekend.
Walsh says from a fans point of view for the league to be decided on the final day is the best possible outcome.
Both managers spoke to TippFM during the week about today's match-up.
St Michaels manager Jason Purcell says it's come down to the two best clubs in Tipperary.
Meanwhile Clonmel Celtic manager Kenny O'Shea says victory over Two Mile Borris during the week was vital.
Kick-off today is in Cooke Park at 6.30pm.
