Premier League action tonight

The Reds will travel to the Stadium of Light to take-on a struggling Sunderland side, knowing that a win would see them move level with sixth-placed United.

Kick-off at the Stadium of Light is at 7.45.

However, Celtic's Scottish Premiership trip to Dundee is off.

The sides were slated to meet this evening, but the pitch at Dens Park has failed an inspection.

That means Aberdeen can go top if they beat Partick Thistle.

Also this evening, third placed Hearts host Dundee United and Motherwell take on St Johnstone.

In transfer news, Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has poured cold water on the talk of Loic Remy being allowed to join Aston Villa.

The relegation battlers are hoping to sign the striker on loan and manager Remi Garde has admitted that the player is on his wishlist.
