Aidis Kruopis emerged victorious from an 8 rider lead group into Newport following a tough stage from Bearna in Galway.
Lukas Postlberger retains both the the Yellow and the Points Classification Jerseys, while Ryan Mullen of An Post has taken over the Under 23 classification.
Today the riders face a 142 kilometre stage from Newport to Ballina.
