Players’ plans could derail Christy Ring final

The C-C-C-C are due to meet tomorrow to discuss the possibility of a replay following the controversial end to the first match which produced conficting reports about the final scoreline.

The Croke Park scoreboard, and match referee John O'Brien, recorded that Meath were the victors on the day by a one point margin.

But the head official has since conceded, that there was a mistake in the calculations and that the game should have gone to extra-time.

The Irish Independent says that a number of Meath players are due to travel to the states in the coming days, which could implicate any arrangements for a replay.
