Open training session for Tipp hurlers ahead of Croker showdown.

The Tipperary Senior Hurling Team will train for the final time later this evening ahead of this Sunday's All Ireland Final.

Eamon O'Shea will put his players through their paces in Semple Stadium in a session that is open to the public from 7 o'clock this evening.

The starting 15 to take to the pitch in Croke Park against Kilkenny will be named here on Tipp FM after the training.

Tipp selector Michael Ryan thinks the final is being contested between the two best teams in the country.

Ryan says there's still work to be done before the big game, and that there's always room for improvement.

Meanwhile Kilkenny's Michael Fennelly believes both sides will head into Sunday's clash taking confidence from their semi-final victories.

Tipperary booked their place in the final with a comfortable victory over Cork, while Kilkenny edged a close encounter with Limerick.

Tipp FM will have full live coverage of the All Ireland Hurling Final this Sunday – our big match build up from Croke Park getting underway at 3 o'clock in association with Lyoness Loyalty Card, Clonmel.
