Creedon won’t be appealing sideline ban

It's been confirmed that the Tipp manager will not be appealing GAA chiefs' decision to ban him from the touchline for one game.

Peter Creedon will have to watch from the stands when the Tipperary Senior Footballers take on Fermanagh on March 1st in their Division 3 National Football League match-up.

The Tipp manager was handed a one match sideline ban for his comments about referee David Coldrick after the Premier County's defeat to Armagh in the opening game of the campaign.

Creedon said after the game he thought Coldrick had a 'howler'.

Tipp had Robbie Kiely sent-off in the game at the Athletic Ground which saw Armagh score the winning point well after added time had elapsed.

GAA officials have deemed that Peter Creedon's comments were of a derogatory nature and he was found to have brought the game into disrepute.
