Olympic Action

The race is due to start at 4pm, Irish time.

There's plenty of other Irish athletes in action in Rio today.

Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow resume from 3-over par and 6-over par respectively ahead of the second round of the Women's Golf tournament.

Natalya Coyle and Arthur Lannigan-O'Keeffe both begin their campaigns in the Modern Pentathlon.

Bryan Keane competes in the Men's Triathlon, which begins at 3pm.

And the sailors Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern compete in the Men's 49er Medal Race, which gets underway at five-past five.

Meanwhile

Jamaica's Elaine Thompson has secured the sprint double.

She won the 200-metres to add to the 100-metres title she claimed at the weekend.

Usain Bolt qualified quickest for tonight's men's 200-metres final – but controversial American Justin Gatlin supinely missed out.
