O’Donnell hopeful of being named in Munster squad today

Tipperary's Tommy O'Donnell is hopeful of being on the Munster team sheet, named today for their Pro 12 derby meeting with Leinster.

The back row has missed the last five months after suffering a hip injury in Ireland's first World Cup warm-up game with Wales.

Head coach Anthony Foley says Cahir native O'Donnell is in contention.

Meanwhile, Leinster will also name their side for Sunday's game today.

They can call upon Cian Healy's services after the prop's appeal against his two-week ban was upheld.

Connacht coach Pat Lam could call upon a host of fit–again players – including Bundee Aki and John Muldoon – for their Stephen's Day meeting with Ulster.

Nick Williams is expected to be named in the Ulster side for that game, despite his announcement that he's leaving for Cardiff at the season's end.
