North Tipp board to meet tonight over deadlines

One of the managers hoping to win the North Tipp U21 hurling title says it's 'very dissapointing' that the competition wasn't finished in time to meet the county deadline.

This meant that Denis Kelly's Toomevara side had to play two matches in as many days last weekend.

The Greyhounds drew with Kilruane MacDonaghs in the North final on Saturday and beat Carrick Swans in the County semi-final on Sunday.

Denis Kelly says he isn't sure how things went wrong as he believes his club were always ready to play matches when required.
