McLean tipped to come into Republic side

Jonathan Walters, who is struggling with an Achilles injury is unlikely to make the game with James McClean the player tipped to come into the team.

Belgium, who were No 1 in the FIFA rankings for the first three months of this year, lost 2-0 to Italy in their opener and are bottom of Group E.

 

Meanwhile, there are reports of trouble in the Belgium camp ahead of the clash.

Thibaut Courtois has been involved in a heated bust-up with Belgium manager Marc Wilmots following their defeat to Italy.

Chesea keeper Courtois criticised the tactics used against the Italians in Lyon.

Ireland's next opponents Italy can seal their place in the knockout stages if they beat Sweden in their second Group E game in Toulouse.

That game kicks-off at 2pm.

The focus then switches to Group D as the Czech Republic face Croatia in the 5pm kick-off.

And at 8pm defending champions Spain take on Turkey in Nice.
