Speaking today in Abbotstown, the Ireland manager admitted that he retains injury concerns over the Gortnahoe striker and defender John O’Shea.
O’Shea is suspended for the first leg in Zenica but a hamstring injury sustained at the weekend on Sunderland duty means he is not guaranteed to return for the decider.
Meanwhile, Tipperary's Shane Long is a doubt due to an ankle injury he picked up against Germany….although his boss at Southhampton has indicated that Long could return to action this weekend after making good progress.
