In the second game at the Ragg, Eire Óg Annacarthy defeated Lorrha Dorrha 2-18 to 2-14, Lorrha storming back in to the game but Eire Óg held on.
In Toomevara, the two North teams emerged as Kilruane McDonaghs defeated JK Brackens 1-21 to 1-9, while Kildangan beat Upperchurch Drombane 2-16 to 1-10.
In Cashel at the evening game, Thurles Sarsfields were too strong for Mullinahone running out 3-25 to 2-18 winners.
Three first half goals by Pa Bourke, Lar Corbett and Aiden McCormack were enough for Sars to establish a foothold on the game.
Afterwards Sarsfields manager Paddy McCormack told Tipp FM Sport that he was glad to be in the quarter finals but they need to improve.
