Lar Corbett calls time on Tipp career

The Thurles Sarsfields player won 2 All Irelands during his illustrious 15 year career with the Tipp seniors and was Player of the Year in 2010.

Acting County Board PRO Joe Bracken said Lars three scintillating goals on Tipp's way to victory in the 2010 All Ireland guaranteed his place for eternity in hurling history and put him among the legion of greats in our treasured game.

The 34 years olds retirement is the latest departure from Michael Ryan's panel as Shane McGrath, James Woodlock and Conor O'Mahoney have all called time on their careers in recent days.
