A Clonmel boxer has claimed a bronze medal at the European Junior Boxing Championships.
Kaysie Joyce was defeated by England’s Rihanna Holden in the 63kg event semifinal last night in Sarajevo.
The Irish light welter weight caught the buzzer of the English boxer with a right hand in the final round, but there will be no place among the finalists but she will go home with a podium place.
