Michael Hoey resumes from level par this morning, which is eight shots off the top of the leaderboard, while Paul Dunne and Peter Lawrie are both back on 4-over.
Meanwhile, Graeme McDowell and Padraig Harrington will also be disappointed with their opening rounds at the FedEx St. Jude Classic yesterday.
McDowell sits on 3-over par, while Harrington started his week with a disappointing 7-over par 77.
