Irish team to face New Zealand to be named

Joe Schmidt will today name his side for Saturday's meeting with the All Blacks at the Aviva.

The Ireland head coach must decide whether or not to keep faith with the available players that triumphed in Chicago, or make room for some of those that impressed in the win over Canada.

In the absence of the injured Jordi Murphy, it looks like a straight call between Josh van der Vlier and Sean O'Brien on the openside.

As expected, Sam Whitelock and Brodie Retallick have been named in the second row for New Zealand.

Neither man played in the match at Soldier Field two weeks ago.

Anton Leinert-Brown and Malakai Fekitoa will be in the midfield in place of the injured Ryan Crotty and George Moala.

Israel Dagg takes over from Naholo on the wing.

It's not all good news for the All Blacks however as Jerome Kaino misses out through injury.
