Irish in Olympic action today

Sanita Puspure is first-up this afternoon as she competes in the quarter-finals of the Women's single sculls at around 1:40pm

The Irish Three Day Eventing team are in 9th place overall going into today's show-jumping finale, which starts at 2pm.

The team of Jonty Evans, Claire Abbot, Mark Kyle and Padraig McCarthy will be hoping to medal today, with Evans the best-placed of the quartet in the individual rankings in 16th.

The Irish men's Hockey are back in action today.

After back-to-back defeats so-far in Pool B, they'll be desperate for a win today against Germany in a match that gets underway at half-past four

In Sailing, Analise Murphy and Finn Lynch are both back out on the water.

Murphy is in fourth place overall going into day two of the Women's Laser Radial class.

And Lynch is in 21st in the Men's Laser.
