Tipperary’s Sam Coen has missed out on the apprentice jockey title following the last meeting of the flat season at the Curragh.
The 18 year old from Fethard had led the standings last week with just a handful of meetings left.

However Paddy Hartnett from Abbeyfeale had an amazing end to the season with 5 winners in the space of 48 hours to bring him from 3 behind Coen to 2 ahead.
24 year old Hartnett finished up on 28 winners for the season with Sam Coen on 26.
