Hoolahan and McGeady emerge as injury concerns

Wes Hoolahan and Aiden McGeady have emerged as injury doubts ahead of the Republic of Ireland’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Serbia at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow.

The Norwich player is struggling with a tight groin, McGeady is to undergo a scan on a hamstring problem.

Jeff Hendrick has been ruled out of the game.

The Burnley midfielder sat out Saturday’s 1 all draw with Georgia in Tbilisi with a thigh injury.

He did some work with the Irish medical team yesterday, but manager Martin O’Neill says he is still feeling the injury and will miss out.
