Tandem cyclist Peter Ryan is aiming for a top six finish in next year's world championship.
The Upperchurch man is back in training after representing Ireland in last month's Paralympics in Rio.
He, and partner Marcin Mizgakski, came 17th in the time trial and were 12th in the road race.
Peter says he wants to be competing at the business end of events.
