While the Thurles school struggled in the first half and were down 6 points at one stage after opting to play against the wind,
they recovered to lead by a point at half time.
It was all Thurles in the second half, with the final score of Thurles C.B.S. 2-23 Castletory College 2-12 booking their place in the semi final against Dungarvan Colleges
Our Lady's Templemore will face Ard Scoil Ris Limerick in the other semi final on Sunday February 3rd.
