Harte commits to another two years in charge

The three-time All Ireland winning manager has agreed a two-year extension that will see him continue with the senior footballers up until the end of the 2017 season.

Also last night, the Tyrone county board re-appointed the Under-21 management team of Fergal Logan, Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher for a further two years.

Meanwhile, Cork IT manager Pat Mulcahy is part of a five-man selection committee that was appointed last night by the Cork county board to find the successor to Jimmy Barry Murphy as their senior hurling coach.
